Foundation for Successful Living offers specialty courses that focus on topics that are important and not always available in a formal classroom setting. Current specialty course offerings include Healthy Relationships, Budgeting & Financial Literacy, Independence with Transportation, Safety in the Home and Community, and Social Skills. The courses are offered twice per week (2 hours per class) for 8-10 weeks at a time.
Each course’s curriculum is tailored to the I/DD community to accommodate people on all different learning levels. Courses are available to those on the SLS and DD waivers, as well as through private pay.
